# 金 (Metal)

- **Earthly branches 地支:** 申, 酉

Metal is righteousness and restraint — resolve, decisiveness and discipline.

- **When abundant 偏旺:** abundant Metal: decisive, principled and disciplined, but can be rigid or combative.
- **When lacking 缺:** lacking Metal: short on decisiveness — practise resolve and set boundaries.
