# 天道 (Heaven Realm)

A past life of merit — a noble, fortunate and kind nature, blessed and protected in this life; should cherish and extend that fortune.

In the Palm Sutra the **Year pillar** star points to the realm a person is said to have come from, colouring their innate nature (根性).
