# The Twelve Palm Stars · 掌中十二星

In Damo Yi Zhang Jing the twelve branches on the palm each carry one fixed star. The four pillars of a birth (year, month, day, hour) are counted onto these branches; the star each pillar lands on gives the reading. The table at <https://localpapa.com/tools/yizhang.html> places them automatically.
