The star of cunning and wit. Sharp, resourceful and strategic, skilled at reading people and turning situations to advantage — brilliant when principled, scheming when not.

**General tendency:** clever and strategic — quick-witted and good at reading situations.

## On each pillar 四柱

### 年柱 Year Pillar — foundation, ancestry & innate nature

### 日柱 Day Pillar — the self, marriage & mid-life

A quick, calculating self and an equally clever spouse — a marriage that must not become a contest of wits. Mid-life is won on judgement; keep a margin of plain decency.

日柱坐天奸，自身反應快、善謀劃，配偶亦聰明而有心思，婚姻忌鬥智。中年多靠判斷力取勝，宜留三分厚道。

### 時柱 Hour Pillar — children, old age & later fortune

Bright, perceptive children; a mind that stays sharp in old age and is good with money and planning. Model integrity for them, or the cleverness finds the wrong outlet.
