這個站是什麼

LocalPapa 是一組跑在瀏覽器裡的免費工具，2025 年 12 月開始寫，到現在有 61 支工具、一個 302 篇的結構化知識庫，以及一份記錄開發過程的開發筆記。工具涵蓋 PDF 處理、圖片與影音轉檔、開發者工具、工程計算、休閒遊戲，以及一組命理排盤工具。

核心原則：檔案不會離開你的裝置

這不是一句行銷詞，是這個站的技術架構。PDF 合併、圖片壓縮、影音轉檔、雜湊計算這類工具，全部在你的瀏覽器裡用 JavaScript 與 WebAssembly 完成——沒有上傳、沒有伺服器端處理、沒有暫存檔。所以：

把網頁載入後斷網，多數工具照樣能用。
敏感文件（合約、報稅資料、證件掃描）不必交給第三方伺服器。
命理工具輸入的生日與姓名同樣只留在瀏覽器本機儲存區，你可以隨時清掉。

內容是怎麼來的

工具：自己寫的，每支都附使用步驟與常見問題。
知識庫：命理名詞（星曜、宮位、十神、牌義、數理）的定義與解釋，由結構化資料產生，人與 AI 都讀得懂，同時提供機器可讀的 Markdown 版本。
開發筆記：記錄實際遇到的問題與判斷過程，包括做錯又改掉的部分，不是產品公告。

命理內容的立場

站上的一掌經、紫微斗數、八字、星座、生命靈數、塔羅、生肖與姓名學工具，是把各家傳統流傳的規則忠實實作出來——輸入什麼、依哪一套規則推導、得到什麼，過程都寫在知識庫裡可以查證。

但要說清楚：這些內容屬於文化與娛樂範疇，不具科學根據，不應用來取代醫療、法律、財務或心理專業的判斷。各門派說法本來就有差異，站上呈現的是其中一種常見版本。

這個站怎麼養活自己

工具全部免費、不設付費牆、不賣使用者資料。營運成本（網域、頻寬）由兩個來源支應：頁面上的 Google AdSense 廣告，以及自願的贊助。廣告一律放在內容底部、每頁一個，不擋操作。這個取捨的完整說明寫在開發筆記裡。

What this site is

LocalPapa is a set of free tools that run inside your browser. It started in December 2025 and now has 58 tools, a 302-page structured knowledge base, and a development log. The tools cover PDF handling, image and media conversion, developer utilities, engineering calculators, casual games, and a set of Chinese metaphysics chart tools.

The core principle: your files never leave your device

This is not a marketing line — it is how the site is built. Merging PDFs, compressing images, converting media, hashing files: all of it happens in your browser via JavaScript and WebAssembly. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is processed server-side, no temporary copies are kept. Which means:

Load a page, go offline, and most tools still work.
Sensitive documents — contracts, tax paperwork, scanned IDs — never go to someone else's server.
Birth dates and names entered into the metaphysics tools stay in your browser's local storage, and you can clear them at any time.

Where the content comes from

Tools: written from scratch, each with usage steps and an FAQ.
Knowledge base: definitions of the terms behind the charts (stars, palaces, ten gods, card meanings, numerology), generated from structured data so both people and AI agents can read it — also published as machine-readable Markdown.
Development log: what actually broke and how it was decided, including the parts that were built wrong and rebuilt. Not press releases.

Where we stand on the metaphysics content

The Yizhangjing, Zi Wei Dou Shu, BaZi, horoscope, numerology, tarot, zodiac and name-analysis tools implement traditional rules faithfully — what goes in, which ruleset derives it, and what comes out is documented in the knowledge base so you can check the reasoning.

To be explicit: this material is cultural and entertainment content with no scientific basis. It is not a substitute for medical, legal, financial or psychological advice. Schools of practice genuinely disagree with each other; what you see here is one common version.

How the site pays for itself

Every tool is free, there is no paywall, and user data is never sold. Running costs (domain, bandwidth) are covered by Google AdSense advertising on the pages and by voluntary sponsorship. Ads sit at the bottom of the content, one per page, and never block what you are doing. The full reasoning behind that trade-off is written up in the development log.
